| The BLACK RIVER PLANTATION is located at the Caribbean Sea of the North Coast of Honduras,
near the small city of Trujillo, where the mountains meet the sea. The plantation encompasses a little less than 500 acres of mountains overlooking the turquoise colored sea and adjoins the protected Capiro National Park.
Five years ago we undertook an ambitious reforestation project of planting Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla King) and Cacao trees on the plantation.
